Danielle Friesen (b. 1997, Winnipeg, MB, Canada) is an emerging artist based in St Leonards-on-Sea, UK. Working from a foundation in drawing, she makes work that examines repetition, layering, and found ephemera, engaging with the fleeting and intuitive aspects of experience.

She holds a BFA from NSCAD University (2025) and a Diploma in Graphic Design (2019). Her work has been shown internationally in group exhibitions and in a solo exhibition at Anna Leonowens Gallery, Halifax.

Based in St Leonards with a studio, Danielle continues to investigate endurance in repeated mark-making and responses to found objects. She is co-curator of 231LondonRoad, an emerging gallery in St Leonards-on-Sea.
