Danielle Friesen (b. 1997, Winnipeg, MB, Canada) is an emerging artist based in St Leonards-on-Sea, UK. Working from a foundation of drawing, she creates work that explores repetition, layering, and examined ephemera. Her practice engages with the fleeting and intuitive aspects of experience.
Danielle holds a BFA from NSCAD University (2025) and a Diploma in Graphic Design (2019). She has exhibited work in group exhibitions and had a solo exhibition at the Anna Leonowens Gallery.
Now developing a studio practice in St Leonards, she continues to investigate the endurance of repeated mark-making and her ongoing engagement with found objects.
